ES&H is a specialist in Emergency Response Services. The Emergency Response division provides services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 

Each response location is staffed with full-time employees trained and experienced in a variety of environmental and industrial services.  All employees meet the training requirements of 29 CFR 1910.120 (Hazwoper) and 29 CFR 1910.146 (Permit Required Confined Space Entry).  Additionally, all response employees attend numerous specialized training courses throughout the year to meet current industry standards and requirements.  All ES&H response personnel also possess a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) which, in conjunction with site specific training, allows entry into secure facilities for work activities.

Oil Spill Response and Clean Up

ES&H offers complete hazardous and non-hazardous oil spill emergency response services. ES&H maintains a minimum inventory of one hundred fifty thousand feet (150,000’) of containment boom which is stored in response trailers at every response location. Fast response vessels ranging from 12’ to 30’ in length and a variety of skimmers ready for immediate mobilization. ES&H also maintains a fleet of vacuum trucks (70 bbl. & 130 bbl.) and roll off box trucks at various response locations for utilization on virtually any type of project.

When natural disaster or severe weather strikes, ES&H is prepared to respond 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Whether the spill is located within the most densely populated metropolitan area or the most rural location, ES&H can promptly mobilize the personnel and equipment into those locations for containment, recovery, and remedial actions.

Fire Hoses

Fires and explosions result in the broadcasting of dielectric fluids over varying distances and terrain.  Our abilities experience and expertise will allow us to be able to restore the affected areas to pre-fire condition.  ES&H has the ability to process fire deluge water on these incidents which can result in reduced transportation & disposal costs for the RP.

HAZ-MAT Response

ES&H offers emergency response services for incidents involving hazardous materials.  Because haz-mat incidents are inherently dangerous, the health and safety of response personnel is paramount.  Our haz-mat response personnel are fully trained and qualified to respond to virtually any hazardous materials incident. ES&H dedicated to the highest level of preparation and professionalism in hazardous materials emergency response.  We continue to explore additional training options for our response employees to improve their knowledge and capabilities in haz-mat response.

Chemical Spills

ES&H has the equipment and expertise to manage and dispose of chemical spills of every size, type, and magnitude. From 20,000-gallon hydrochloric acid spills, chemical blending plant explosions, ruptured 330-gallon tote of sulfuric acid, leaking hydrofluoric acid tankers and more - we’ve done it all.

Many emergency spills occur when oil, fuel or a wide range of chemicals are being transported from point A to point B.
