For those operators with discharges from oil and gas exploration, development and production facilities located within territorial seas of Louisiana, please note that if you wish to continue discharging produced water, you must now seek authorization to do so under an individual permit, utilizing the O and G-IND permit application, no later than April 1, 2012. ES&H will be rolling out a new Trainer Software in January 2012. The Learning and Safety Management System (LSMS) will give us the ability to deliver, track, and report training information and is built with compliance-based training in mind. The LSMS supports a proactive "push" approach that represents safety industry best practices. As a fully hosted and supported web-based system, the LSMS also offers 24/7 access via the Internet. All management/employee personnel will be required to complete certain mandatory training and procedural tasks assigned to them in a specific time period.

Here at ES&H, safety is a top priority! In order to promote a safe workplace, ES&H employees were asked to get involved in helping to create a new safety slogan which will be implemented for 2012. Congratulations to Steven Faucheaux, ES&H Account Representative out of New Orleans, LA, for submitting the winning slogan "Think Safe, Live Safe, Be Safe."
