ES&H has
developed a proven leadership in the emergency response industry.
Since enforcement of the Oil Pollution Act of 1990 (OPA 90), our
organization has been contracted by some of the largest oil and
gas companies in the United States to participate in the cleanup
of oil spills. At the frontline of massive well blowouts and pipeline
ruptures to train derailments and other industrial incidents,
we have earned the trust of not only smaller independent oil and
gas companies, but also that of the major oil companies.
With long-term oil spill response experience and a particular
expertise in the Gulf South Region, our services have proved essential
to companies facing post-hurricane spill issues. These clean-up
efforts continue, with ES&H the only company that can lay
claim to leading or participating in eight of the top ten oil
spill cleanups resulting from Hurricane Katrina.
ES&H is proud to have attained the United States Coast Guard OSRO Classification
in all of the Captain of the Port Zones (COTP) across the Gulf of Mexico for facilities
and vessels from Maximum Most Probable to Worst Case III.
