Emergency/Spill Management Team

When an environmental emergency occurs, you need a team that can help you respond effectively. Our team will be there immediately to assess the environmental impact, manage the cleanup process, and handle the necessary regulations triggered by the incident. Our team is organized according to the National Inter-Agency Incident Command System and can manage any incident in the Unified Command System. We work with you from start to finish:

DOT Pipeline Services

We assist pipeline operating companies in developing, implementing, and documenting routine maintenance schedules. Our consultants are fully qualified under the operator/contractor qualification program listed in 40 CFR 195. Tasks include:

Training

We offer training at our state-of-the-art training facilities in Houma, Louisiana and Houston, Texas, as well as on site at your company. Customized courses are also available. We are approved by the Louisiana Incumbent Worker Program to provide state-funded training to qualified companies.

Environmental Auditing

We can perform a visual assessment of all of your facilities to ensure that everything is operating within the standards and guidelines of regulatory agencies like EPA, OSHA, USCG, and DEQ. Our auditors look for problem areas so you can address them before they become critical.

Environmental Permitting

We offer environmental monitoring, sampling, and permit preparation services including National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permits dealing with storm water, sanitary waste, and wash water outfalls. We can also help generate and submit the following important filings associated with federal and state industrial permits and MMS-regulated drilling activity:

Environmental Surveying

We can perform a Phase I environmental site assessment on any property or facility to determine if areas of potential concern or liability exist. A Phase II assessment involves sampling potentially contaminated areas and we can conduct NORM surveys, as needed. We can also perform a Phase III site remediation to restore the property to its background conditions under the guidelines of the Louisiana RECAP Program.
